NASA

NASA

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, established in 1958 as the civilian space agency of the United States. NASA led humanity from its first tentative steps into orbit through the Apollo Moon landings, the Space Shuttle era, and the construction of the International Space Station. Its robotic missions have explored every planet in the solar system, landed rovers on Mars, and placed telescopes in orbit that revealed the age and structure of the universe. From Mercury to Artemis, NASA has been the defining institution of the Space Age.
