Sierra Space
Sierra Space, formerly Sierra Nevada Corporation''s Space Systems division, developed the Dream Chaser spaceplane. Dream Chaser is a reusable lifting-body vehicle designed to carry cargo and eventually crew to the International Space Station, landing on conventional runways. The vehicle''s design traces back to NASA''s HL-20 concept from the 1990s, itself inspired by the Soviet BOR-4 lifting body tested in the 1980s.
