Rocket Lab
Founded by Peter Beck in New Zealand, Rocket Lab developed the Electron rocket, the first privately built orbital launch vehicle from the Southern Hemisphere. Electron pioneered the use of electric-pump-fed engines with the Rutherford motor, and the company has experimented with mid-air booster recovery using helicopters. Rocket Lab is developing the medium-lift Neutron rocket, designed from the ground up for reusability and optimized for constellation deployment and crew missions.
