Martin Marietta

An American aerospace company formed from the merger of Glenn L. Martin Company and American-Marietta Corporation. Martin Marietta built the Titan rocket family, which served as both an ICBM and a space launch vehicle for over four decades. Titan II launched all ten Gemini crewed missions, while Titan III and IV variants carried some of the heaviest national security payloads to orbit. The company merged with Lockheed in 1995 to form Lockheed Martin.
